Cook/Kitchen Assistant
Located in Pearcedale Victoria on the Mornington Peninsula, Moonlit Sanctuary is a privately owned and award-winning wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of Australian wildlife and their habitats. Moonlit Sanctuary is a favourite destination to interact with Aussie animals through encounters, educational presentations and live shows.
Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated casual Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at the Wetlands Café with responsibility for preparing and cooking a variety of simple dishes, ensuring good standards of food quality and presentation.
What you bring
- Previous experience in cafe, kitchen, food service or catering role highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices highly desirable.
- Excellent skills in communication, teamwork, organisation and time management.
- Ability to take direction from the Food Service Supervisor and show initiative.
- Flexibility to work on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
